This product is handmade and made of 100% wood. If the surface is dry or scratched, you can put walnut oil or wood wax evenly on the surface of theΒ Volvo key shell with cotton swabs, then wait for one night or even few days till the oil is completely absorbed in the wood, finally polish the wood key shell with a cloth. Oil and polish the key shell regularly can prevent the wood from cracking because of dryness.
Attention: as this shell is 100% made of wood, it does not like water, fire and chemicals. Please donβt wash or clean it with wet cloth, donβt approach the fire source or put it under sun exposure. Regular oil and polish will extend the life of the key shell. You have to remove the original cover of your Volvo car key in order for this one to be installed. It's not intended to fit around your existing key's shell - it's designed to replace it.

I've been a customer for 5 years. The original version was extremely sturdy, even surpassing the quality of the original parts. The new one is more attractive and has a more Scandinavian style.

Nice looking,great fit. One downside:you cant dissasemble it without small phillips screwdriver because new casing is held together with screws,standard sliding clip to dissasemble it doesnt work.

Really impressed with the quality. I went for the walnut case and it fits. Will regularly clean and nourish with lemon oil.
Exquisite hand made wooden key fob in Walnut. They looked lighter than this in their raw form, but I have applied some bees wax which I will buff off tomorrow once it has seeped into the wood. This is recommended to preserve the wood. I had these fitted a little earlier and they were a perfect match with no separation lines whatsoever! The workmanship is amazing. Volvo here in Australia are charging customers $250 for these key fob covers, but buy them direct through this crowd for a fraction of that. Shame on you Volvo!
I am really delighted with this key cover. At first I was a little put off by the price, but it's worth every cent. The wood is genuine and high quality. Superbly finished with the original logo. 2 small screwdrivers are included so that you can screw the cover on firmly and securely. There is even a set of black screws included for dark-coloured cases so that you can hide them nicely. A small, tasteful pendant was also included and rounds things off nicely. I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Received my key fob cover today. From order to delivery took about three weeks. Very pleased with the quality of workmanship and finish. A real improvement on the more recent cheap plastic cases Volvo now supplies. I'll definitely be ordering more items from iWoodStore.
The planting is very good. At first I was worried that the color of the walnut was too light, so I photographed a darker color. I saw that the color is actually not too dark and not too light. I like that. Those who like wood can take pictures of it.

I bought one earlier, but cracked it myself and felt uncomfortable about the compulsive upset, so I bought another one. Delivery was quick, installation was easy and the fit was very good. The material blends well with the walnut wood of the interior. It has a very textured feel, much more modern than the original plastic material.
