I’ve set up a new desk, and over the National Day holiday, I spent quite a while looking for a stand. I use both a ThinkPad and a MacBook Pro - with thicknesses of 2cm and 0.8cm respectively - which made finding a suitable stand rather difficult. The seller offered a custom-made option - truly impressive - and even shipped it out the very same day! Now that it’s arrived, I’m really pleased with the color and grain of the solid wood; it has a nice, substantial weight to it and pairs perfectly with my oak desktop. 🥰

I can now wield my Tamron 17-70mm without a strap, dangling by just a few fingers (not wise, but very possible). Big and heavy lense, not possible without this grip. Just for the beauty alone I recommend it, but functionally it is a must.

This is truly an excellent grip. I have large hands, so I had been looking for a grip that would be comfortable to use, and I feel very lucky to have discovered this website. The grip fits the EOS R8 perfectly. Since I ordered it all the way to South Korea, I was a little concerned about the shipping time and whether it would arrive safely, but it arrived in perfect condition. The response to my inquiries was also very quick, and I’m extremely impressed with the overall quality of the grip. I especially like the hinge on the bottom of the grip, which makes it easy to access the SD card and battery without having to remove the grip. I highly recommend this grip, and I hope more people get to enjoy this excellent product!

Overall, the setup feels great; the solid wood adds a premium touch, and the handle is simple to use and unobtrusive while also protecting the base - it’s perfectly adequate for everyday shooting.
I bought both the A7V and A7R6 versions; the new grip texture offers a better feel in the hand, and they remain both stylish and practical - worth it 1,000%. However, it’s a shame that the bottom attachment point on one side of the vertical bracket has been removed, as I used to rely heavily on that mounting hole.
