Handcrafted OM System PEN Grip KC Design

KC Design Handcrafted Ergonomic Solid Wood Hand Grip for OM System PEN

Elevate your shooting experience and restore timeless vintage charm to your OM System PEN camera with the KC Design Solid Wood Hand Grip. Precision-engineered from high-grade aviation aluminum alloy and premium natural hardwoods, this custom L-plate is designed to fix the ergonomics of compact mirrorless camera bodies while adding handcrafted aesthetic elegance.

How KC Design Improves Your Photography & Solves Real-World Pain Points:

1. Eliminates Pinky Slip & Hand Fatigue:

Compact mirrorless bodies like the OM System PEN are sleek, but their flat design leaves your pinky finger unsupported, forcing a cramped "claw grip" during long shoots. The ergonomically curved wooden handle extends the gripping surface, allowing your hand to rest naturally and dramatically reducing wrist and finger strain during all-day street or travel photography.

2. Never Lose Your Mounting Wrench Again (Built-In Tool Slot):

Traditional baseplates require a separate hex wrench to install or remove, which is easily lost on location. KC Design features an innovative built-in tool storage compartment right in the baseplate. Using a non-magnetic physical mechanical snap, it holds your mini-wrench securely without generating magnetic fields that could interfere with your camera.

3. 100% Uninterrupted Workflow (Battery & Screen Access):

Swap batteries and SD cards on the fly without removing the grip, thanks to the precision-cut battery compartment door. The baseplate also features a custom-machined chamfered groove for the flip-out screen, allowing complete, unobstructed movement of your articulated LCD display.

4. All-Around Scratch Protection:

Unlike standard metal baseplates that scratch the camera's bottom chassis over time, the KC Design baseplate is fully lined with high-density protective velvet cloth, keeping your camera body in pristine, as-new condition.

5. Aged Organic Tactile Experience:

Hand-polished and finished with natural oils, real wood feels warm and organic in the hand. As you use it over time, the natural oils from your hands deepen the wood grain's luster and smoothness, developing a unique personal patina.
