I purchased the grip for my Leica M-A, it fits perfectly and looks great. It certainly makes holding the camera more secure and comfortable, does not impair access to any controls (minimal though they are), nor does it impair inserting or removing film. Overall, I consider it to have been a great purchase and well worth the price.
